There will be
organized activities for leadline
participants and other children ages 4 to 10
who will be at the 2011 Youth Dressage
Festival. The purpose of these activities is
to motivate younger children to participate
in Lendon’s Youth Dressage Festival in the
future.
Activities
will be held on Friday, July 8 from 2pm -
4pm, on Saturday, July 9 from 10am - 12noon
and from 2pm - 4pm. On Sunday, July 10,
children’s activities will be held from
8:30am – 10:30am, to allow time to get ready
for the leadline class at 12 noon. These
activities will be held in the VIP Pavilion
and in the sand ring behind it.
Activities
will include arts and crafts and traditional
games with a horsey twist. We will also
learn and practice the leadline dressage
test using our own two feet and stick
horses. We will begin learning Introductory
Test 2, and the Walk/Trot Dressage Trail
